三、教學目標 Objectives
全球三大語系分別為中文，西班牙文和英文，其中以西作為官方語言的國家約有二十一個，除西班牙外，大部分西班牙語系國家位於拉丁美洲。不過西班牙文在美國南部和大城市也相當普便，約佔美國人口的五分之一。此外諳西班牙語者不但可在葡萄牙語系國家和當地人士口語交談，甚至在義大利也沒有太大的問題。與我國維持邦交的國家，有一半位於拉丁美洲，為增進選課同學未來在涉外工作的便利性，因此課程設計目標以實用為目標，每次上課皆分成文法會話國別讀本、西班牙生活會話讀本等部分進行，以期同學在修完二年課程後，具備開口講話的勇氣與實力。

本課程以就醫，看牙醫，買電腦，劇院購票，找工作及人在郵局為講授重點，文法和會話的部分則依讀本的進度調整。
