三、教學目標 Objectives
如何善用軟體處理資料探勘、分析與建模的過程之繁瑣步驟，包括變數的擷取、資料驗證、遺失值處理、衍生變數產生、模型建置與部署規劃、系統整合、跨模型效能評估、與模型調校。本課程預計藉由SAS Enterprise Guide來認識SAS程式撰寫的基本概念，並搭配運用SAS Enterprise Miner 來進行資料探勘的學習與演練。預計將搭配R與STATA軟體的介紹，來認識各種分析軟體的邏輯思維。
Before data mining, analysis and modeling, there are many complicated steps in data cleaning, such as retrieving variables, exploring data distribution, dealing with missing value, generating the derivative variables, model building and evaluating. Then model tuning process would be based on the information of model assessment. SAS Enterprise Guide would be used as the major analytical software to deal the whole complicated process in this course. Via using SAS Enterprise Guide and Enterprise Miner, students need to understand the basic concepts of SAS programming and data mining skills. Learning from practice is the most important task for students to learn the main idea of data science. Other analytical software, R and STATA will be introduced into this class as well to create opportunities to incorporate the logical thinking of various analytical software.

●整體敘述 Overall Description 課程簡介： 在資料探勘的過程有許多繁瑣的步驟，包括變數的擷取、資料驗證、遺失值處理、衍生變數產生、模型建置與部署規劃、系統整合、跨模型效能評估、與模型調校。 課程進行步驟： 1. 了解SAS Enterprise Guide (EG) 的基本概念 2. 搭配運用SAS Enterprise Miner (EM) 來進行資料探勘的學習與演練 3. 初階統計與分析軟體之整合與運用 4. 視覺化結果呈現
