三、教學目標 Objectives | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
本課程分為三個部分(或是單元)。第一部分討論當代人權理論,如John Rawls、Amartya Sen、Martha Nussbaum。第二部分討論體制與法律,簡略地說明與分析國際人權法的發展。第三部分選擇幾個當代社會注目影響鉅大的議題,如氣候變遷、病毒入侵、移民與難民的議題等等。 | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
This course is divided into three parts or modules which can be treated in relationship to one another or separately. The first part deals with the contemporary human rights theorists such as John Rawls, Amartya Sen and Martha Nussbaum. The second part discusses regime and law, briefly analyzing the development of International Human Rights Law since World War II. The emphasis would be placed on the efforts of the United Nations, the states as well as civil society organizations. The third part covers several influential and challenging social issues, including climate change, virus invasion, and immigrant and refugee, etc. They are new issues, just beginning to attract the attention of the scholar community. However, the survival of mankind depends on how they are resolved. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
四、課程內容 Course Description | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
●整體敘述 Overall Description 本課程特為人權碩士學位學程開設,兼顧理論與實踐。整體來看,課程分理論、國際人權法的發展與實踐三部分,但在第三單元,每個議題也隱含同樣的三個層次——特定理論的探討、人權發展的背景脈絡,以及具體運作的情勢分析。選課同學需選一個題目,提出報告,如果題目是已經開始構思的論文尤其理想。在開學以後,對授課內容我將再與同學們討論,視學生的背景與程度進行適當的微調。 |
