| 1. 期使暸解社會學研究中與AI現象有關的理論觀點。 2. 期使結合社會學理論與相關知識,深入探討AI與社會學的關係。 3. 期使透過思辨討論的方式,暸解並分析社會學可以如何探討AI科技與社會的連結。 4. 期使將理論與經驗知識進一步發展為論述,反思並參與AI社會學的發展。 |

| To understand theoretical perspectives related to AI phenomena in sociological research. To combine sociological theories and relevant knowledge to explore the relationship between AI and sociology. To understand and analyze through speculative discussions how sociology can explore the connection between AI technology and society. To further develop theories and experiential knowledge into discourse, reflect on, and engage in the development of AI sociology. |

| 四、課程內容 Course Description | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
| ●整體敘述 Overall Description 近年來包括人工智能在內的各種科技蓬勃發展,也對日常生活與人類行為有了各種介入。社會學與人工智能看起來似乎相距甚遠,社會學關注的行動者彼此之間、行動者與社會結構之間的關係與互動,而人工智能似乎只是作為技術物被放進上述關係之中。在過去五十年,社會學幾乎甚少介入對人工智能的研究,一方面因為社會學家對技術的了解較為缺乏,一方面是尚未能找到與其連結之處。然而,由於人工智能科技日新月異,已經實質介入人類社會,也引出了許多社會學關注的面向,例如刻板印象、不平等,以及道德倫理等議題。這些不再與社會學無關,反而是社會學得以介入研究的契機。本課程將從社會學觀點出發,探討社會學如何關注人工智能現象,並且透過議題的方式,介紹社會學能夠在人工智能研究上的著力之處。在當前時代,社會學的思考或許有助於人工智能的發展,也能夠反思如何更好地使用人工智能科技。 |
