三、教學目標 Objectives
本科目為單學期選修課.目標為協助主修英文的同學改善英文發音咬字不準確,無法流暢講完句子,上台手足無措等常見困難. 課堂上每個人每週都需上台演練,觀摩同儕,參與討論,分析值得效法及改善之優劣點. 每週課後都有個人需進行之指定作業,自行演練並準備下一週上台發表. 學期前中後三次錄影以備檢視成果. 成績視努力及進步成效而訂. 為有效掌握人數,有意參與本課程者第一週上課請務必出席,經確認有參與必要者才得以加選.
Objectives & Requirements:
This is an elective single semester course for students having troubles in pronouncing English words correctly, reading sentences naturally, and speaking in public confidently. Class hours will be used mostly for discussions, analysis, and drills to help remedy difficulties you can not deal with on your own. Homework will be given to meet individual needs, and everyone is expected to give presentations the next week to check your progress. Three of the presentations, one early in the semester, two during the mid-term and final weeks, will be videotaped. Grades will be determined on how one has excelled, not how one is compared to others.
