This course includes: Permutations and combinations, Pigeonhole principle, The binomial coefficients, The Principle of inclusion and exclusion, Recurrence relation, The generating function.

●整體敘述 Overall Description · Some famous problems in Combinatorics · Permutations and combinations: Basic counting principle, Permutations/combinations of sets/multisets, · The pigeonhole principle: its applications, A Theorem of Ramsey · The binomial coefficients: Pascal's triangle, The binomial theorem, The multinomial theorem · Inclusion-exclusion principle: Derangements, Permutations with forbidden positions · Recurrence relations and generating functions: Generating functions, Exponential generating functions, Solving linear homogeneous recurrence relations · Related topics in Combinatorics
